Gregory J. Harris, Ph.D., is currently the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Director of the Center for Academic Advising and Student Success in the College of Human Sciences at Florida State University. He recently served as the Interim Department Chair for the Department of Family and Child Sciences where he is an Associate Teaching Professor. As a Family Scientist, his research interest focuses on family stress, inequities in the psycho-social health status among ethnically diverse families across the life course and aging populations. Dr. Harris has extensive experience with private non-profit organizations, educational and leadership advancement, community development, health promotion, disease prevention, grant-writing, and grants management.
